Boys Scouts Supporting Their Community

Many people are not aware of the Boy Scouts contribution to our community.

Scouting places an emphasis on community work.  As Scouts we are required to give back to our community in the form of service projects and Eagle Projects.  This develops a sense of pride in their community and positive aspect of affecting the world around you for the Scouts.   Our Focus is to develop relationships with the various organizations throughout Glen Rock as examples the Arboretum, Library, Jaycees, VFW and junior sports programs.  We participate in other activities like collecting for food drives to placing flags at the cemetery for the fallen veterans and much more.  Occasionally you may see us in Red & Black Scouting shirts.
